*See below for info about Gift Cards!*
Hi there! We are now offering an online intake option for those of you who would like to get your Bible repaired. Due to staffing issues, I will not be offering in-person appointments anymore. It is simply not possible for me to meet with every person and still meet deadlines.
With the online option, you will make some decisions about your Bible and you will ship your Bible to us (or drop off in our book locker if local) and we can send it back to you when we are finished. If you are local, see step 2 for local drop-off option. Please note that this option includes phone contact only and does NOT include an in-studio appointment.
We feel confident that, no matter the condition, we can get your Bible back in shape and make it usable again. We hope you will feel free to contact us with questions and suggestions for how to make this online option better as we continue to tweak it.
This listing is for new leather cover repairs only. If you want to use your original cover in the repair, we will need to have you contact us at 479-587-0238 or email lesha@littlemountainbindery.com
Please note that this is NOT for Family Bibles; Bibles that are antique and/or over-sized. See our Family Bible page for more details on those.
*Do you have a friend or family member who has a Bible in need of repair? We offer Gift Cards, (so you don't have to fill out this form for them). Click here to purchase and see more details. *
STEP 1:
Fill out the questions and complete checkout. Think of this as an estimate and deposit for your Bible repair. Most of the time the amount you pay will cover the entire cost. However, the cost is subject to change based on our in-person analysis of the Bible. Torn pages or broken sewings, etc. can add some cost. The price you calculate here could increase or decrease and you will be billed or refunded the difference. However, we have done our best to show you the basic options and price for each option. If you are not comfortable making all decisions, just do as little or as much as you are comfortable with. We will discuss everything over the phone once we receive your Bible.
STEP 2:
Ship your Bible to us! If you are local and would like to drop it off, please send an email to lesha@littlemountainbindery.com or text 479-422-7001 to receive directions for drop-off (it is important to get directions for drop off in our book locker— GPS will not get you here). Please note that local drop-offs will not be meeting for an in-person appointment. If you need to feel or see leather and you are dropping off locally, let me know when you are coming and I can leave swatches in the locker.

STEP 3:
We will contact you once we have received your Bible and go over your entire online order over the phone before we begin. This is when you can make changes, add more options, ask questions, etc. We want you to be able to make this as custom as possible.
STEP 4:
Upon completion of your Bible, we will send you a final invoice (if applicable). At this time you will choose return shipping, the shipping you paid for will be applied.
We ship every bible with USPS Priority shipping to insure your book can get to you as best as we can. (Email or call if you would like to add additional insurance to any shipping and we can invoice you for that fee. Priority includes some insurance already.)
Please note that if you change your mind about having your Bible repaired/restored after we have received it, you will be refunded the entire amount of your payment MINUS $12 (Domestic) to cover return shipping and handling.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Is my Bible sewn or glued?
Sometimes it is difficult to tell if your Bible is sewn or glued. If you turn the pages and look down in the gutter or joint area you will eventually see thread running up that area. Sometimes you have to turn a lot of pages before you see the thread. Another way to tell is to look at the top of the book where your ribbon comes out. Pull back the ribbon and the little piece of colorful material (headband) along the top and if you see what looks like a stack of single pages, then you have a glue binding. If you see a series of consecutive folds then you most likely have a sewn binding. If your pages are coming out in big chunks, it is probably a glue binding. This is something that we can determine when we receive your Bible. Just keep in mind that if it is a glue binding we will have to oversew it. This will add cost to the original estimate at $12 per 1/2 inch of thickness.
What could make the price increase once we have received it?
1. Page repair- If we discover more torn pages we will consult with you before adding them to your total cost.
2. Scotch tape/ electrical tape/ duct tape - In general, tape will sometimes add to the cost because it will add to the labor it takes to prepare your Bible pages for a new cover.
3. Sewing- If we receive your Bible and determine that it is a glued binding (a stack of single sheets attached only by glue) then we will need to oversew your Bible. This is done by hand and has a lifetime guarantee. The charge is $12 per 1/2 inch thickness of your Bible. For example, a 1-inch thick Bible would cost $24 to sew. Sewn Bibles rarely need to be resewn but occasionally do need to be sewn in the front and back. These are issues we will discuss over the phone once we receive the Bible.
4. Severely Damaged- Some Bibles have been loved so hard that they are in very bad shape. If your Bible is in such bad shape that we have to spend extra time just getting it straightened out in order to move to the first step, this will cost extra.
What if I change my mind after I have already sent the Bible to Little Mountain Bindery?
It's ok! We will refund your entire payment minus $12 for return shipping and handling.
Hey, I am local. Why can't I just make an appointment?
You can make an appointment to drop off your Bible in our locker. Please call or email to get directions for that option.
I am local and I just want to pick up my Bible when it is finished. Does it have to be shipped?
No, you can choose "local pickup" when you do the online intake.
I am not sure about the way I answered some of the questions on the online intake! Help
Do not worry if this isn't filled out perfectly, or if you're not sure how to answer some of the questions. When we receive your Bible, we will call you to discuss everything with you. We will never start on a Bible before talking to you first.
I really want a more specific color and/or exotic leather that is not offered here. Do you offer other options not listed?
If you are looking for something specific, please give us a call. We can offer other colors and leathers that aren't listed for a special order fee. We also have much experience in exotic leathers such as Alligator, Ostrich, and Bison. If you are interested in one of these leathers, please contact Lesha at 479-587-0238 for more information.
Rush Order Info
Rush fee options are listed in the online intake. Please note that this will require the use of in-stock leathers and other materials unless you want to pay for rushing special order leathers shipments. Please contact us if you have any questions about Rush orders.
