Learn how to bind a book out of single sheets (rather than folios). This exposed-spine structure allows for you to sew together pages of unconventional material -- everything from heavy watercolor paper or cardstock to cardboard to wood -- and still have a book that opens entirely flat. It's the perfect approach to use in building a robust and multi-surfaced sketch-book, scrapbook or art portfolio. This intermediate class requires some previous bookbinding experience in sewing multiple signatures or handwork experience in other mediums.

Any cancellation made will be eligible for bindery credit only. This credit can be used toward any future bindery service, Fillion product or workshop. Cancellations should be made a week in advance of the first workshop date so that I can notify the next person on the waitlist. Space is limited.
