The Buttonhole Binding is a beautiful book structure that is perfect for beginners and more advanced bookbinding students. It features an open window for an exposed spine and threads that run along the outside of the cover. This book opens completely flat and is perfect for sketching, writing or journaling, or even as a simple photo album or scrapbook.
In this workshop, held at Little Mountain Bindery, each student will leave with a completed blank book of Mohawk Superfine text weight paper and acid-free, highest quality papers, bookcloth, and book board. Each student will also have the option in class to buy more kits to work on at home as practice and for holiday gifts.
