This class will meet 5 times between May-July. We will also have an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 3 at 6 p.m. at a local cafe to be decided. Days/Times will be decided as a group so that everyone who signs up can attend.  *Please note that students may be expected to work outside of class as well depending on their project scope.

The Miniature Book Edition & Exchange is one of our most popular classes ever and for good reason. In this workshop you will make an edition of miniature books to equal (at least) the number of people taking the class.  At the end of the workshop we will have an exchange party so that everyone leaves with one book from each participant. It is so much fun!!!

The books we make will be under 3 inches in all dimensions and must have content (no blank books). The goal is to also create book structures that reflect the content of our books. My goal, as the instructor, is to push you a bit outside of your comfort zone to create a book that is as close to your imagining as possible.

Everyone who signs up must have some basic experience in bookmaking-- mitering corners, a little sewing, and basic tool knowledge. For the most part, one class at Little Mountain Bindery is sufficient. If you have taken classes elsewhere, please list your experience when you sign up. Please contact me if you have questions about your experience level. Our goal is to get everyone in who wants to take the class if at all possible, however, because it is an edition we are capping the number of participants at 10.

Because of the wild variation among book structures, materials are not included in the cost. The bindery will have some supplies for sale to help with convenience and I will have a list of great resources for book arts and other supplies.

If minimum of 5 students not met, full refunds will be processed. Please plan to attend all 5 sessions because no make-up sessions will be offered if you are unable to attend one or more classes.

Cancellation refunds will be given to those who provide two weeks notice (so that we have time to fill that position). Please contact us if you have any questions.
